Paillard Bolex H-16 16mm Early Model Movie Camera 1936

Serial no. 8082 from 1936

The Bolex H-16 was introduced in 1935, so this is a very early model with the Paillard-Bolex logo embossed directly into the leather.

Specification:

Highly polished duraluminium body, covered in genuine Morocco leather. Metal parts are chrome-plated.
Film: 100ft (30m) and 50ft (15m) daylight loading spools of 16mm film.
Automatic threading and loop forming.
Constant speed, spring motor mechanism; governor controlled.
Large winding handle folds downward and attaches to camera when not in use.
Rotating turret; Accommodates three interchangeable C-mount lenses.
Tri Focal viewfinder gives an exact viewing field for lenses of 3 focal lengths, 15, 25, 75.
Speeds 8, 16, 24, 32 and 64 frames per second.
190 degree disc shutter.
Footage Counter adds and subtracts accurately in forward or reverse motion.
Time lapse and animation.
Tripod socket: 3/8″ thread.

Good condition and fully working with no damage and only minor tarnishing and marks from use.

Includes Paillard Bolex Tri Focal Viewfinder and empty take-up spool.

Includes Case to accommodate camera, lenses and accessories.
